Meet the Team
Hello! We're the Mitchells. We are a husband and wife business team. We've been working together on this photography dream since 2008. The secret to our success as a happily married couple who also works well together day in and day out is how we divvy up our business tasks. Luckily we have very different strengths so there is not a lot of toe-stepping. Melissa went to design school and loves the creative process of planning a photoshoot. Josh loves taking photos so much that he even does it on his days off! He's always researching new techniques and challenging himself to become a better photographer every day. Josh Mitchell
Lead Photographer -Lighting Guru - Pro-Retoucher
Josh was born to be a photographer. His primary goal is to make you look awesome and he strives to take the best photo of you that you've ever had taken. He knows that's a tall order but helping you feel comfortable and good about yourself is a big deal to him; maybe it's because he's just as uncomfortable being in front of the camera.
Josh is the person who will be photographing you, running around adjusting lighting, and coaching you during the photo session day. Josh also handles most of the post-shoot workflow from setting up proof galleries, editing your photos, and delivering them.
Melissa Mitchell
Creative Director - Business Enthusiast
Melissa is the people person and can pretty much find common ground with everyone. She enjoys hearing about all your business struggles and insecurities. She's a great listener and has a way of taking your vague ideas and transforming them into a cohesive visual story.
Melissa is the person you'll talk to the most when beginning to work with Your Face is Rad. She's the one who handles all the planning and logistics and she's the one that keeps everyone organized during the photo sessions. You can count on her for endless ideas, emotional support, and a helping hand.

Select, Edit, and Deliver Images
After your session, we will upload all the proofs to an online gallery. You get to choose which photos you want to be retouched. When the editing is done, we deliver your files to you digitally.

Portraits?
Our Business Portrait packages are individualized photography sessions where the focus is on producing multiple fantastic images of one person. In these sessions, we include enough time to photograph our clients in a variety of different settings and backgrounds, with the potential for an outfit or accessory change. If you need multiple professional quality images of yourself, but don't require the intentional and extensive planning of a personal branding session - then you're in the right place!
Business Portrait Sessions
Our business portrait sessions are a great fit for folks who need a new headshots, some updated photos for social media, or a few images for a website.

Commercial usage license, no royalties.
15-minute phone consultation to go over locations and photo needs.
